Chance to learn stage skills from professional director

IF the stage is the only place for you, the Gladstone Performing Arts Company would like to welcome you to participate in a three-day workshop this weekend.

Led by director, producer, lecturer in performing arts and theatre extraordinaire David Berker, the workshop is open to all ages.

The workshop has been made possible by a Regional Arts Development Fund grant, an initiative of the Gladstone Regional Council and the Queensland State Government.

Furthering the local arts and culture landscape in Gladstone, the workshop is aimed at giving local people the benefit of learning skills from a professional theatrical director with more than 30 years experience in the industry.

Projection, character development, building climax and tension and the art of movement are a small selection of the workshop's key focus points.

The price for the weekend workshop is $50.
