Designs from Hotondo Homes ideal for first-timers

THE Queensland Government continues to offer a significant helping hand to those wanting to get into the housing market.

With an end date yet to be announced, first home buyers can still take advantage of the $15,000 Great Start Grant for new homes, plus potential stamp duty savings.

Designed with the first home buyer in mind, Hotondo Homes has developed the Milestone Range in a bid to make it even easier to get into the housing market.

The range consists of eight new, affordable designs reflecting the demand for smaller blocks of land.

Each of the homes have been cleverly designed to fit a narrow frontage maximising the use of space.

Featuring five single-storey and three double-storey designs, the Milestone Range caters for the full spectrum of first home buyer's needs, without compromising on practicality and style.

One of the new home designs featured in the Milestone Range is the single-storey Primo.

Standing at just 9.56m wide, the Primo has been well organised to maximise space, incorporating three bedrooms, single car garage and storage throughout.

Hotondo Homes general manager Matt Daly said with the first home buyer grant offered by the Queensland Government, the Milestone designs represented the perfect opportunity to gain a leg up on the property ladder.

"Our vision was to create a range that reflected the budgetary and lifestyle requirements of the first home buyer," he said.

"We have designed contemporary homes, maximising efficiency and function."
