A coffee and a chat with court bailiff Chantelle

We have a coffee and chat with some of Gladstone's favourite faces.

NAME: Chantelle Larner

OCCUPATION: Gladstone Courthouse Bailiff

YEARS LIVE IN GLADSTONE: About 18 years

WHEN I was young my dream was to... be a Smurf! (laughs), no I don't know, I was torn between whether I wanted to be in law, media or a travel agent.

On a sunny Saturday afternoon you can find me... I think we all know the answer to that one; it involves a glass of cold wine with my family and friends.

The one song that would have to be included in the soundtrack to my life would be... Born to be Alive, by Patrick Hernandez.

People say my doppelganger is... Natalie Imbruglia. When I was younger, people used to say that to me in high school; I wouldn't say it now, though (laughs).

The person I would consider to be my hero would be... my dad, without a doubt.

If I were elected prime minister for a day, the first thing I would do would be... legalise gay marriage.

When I'm in the mood to splurge, I... go and get a massage, go and get my nails done, ll the girlie things. Or drinking. Maybe both at the same time (laughs).

If I'm heading out in Gladstone, you'll most likely find me... having dinner served fresh at one of the local eateries. I'm more likely to be going out to a nice dinner rather than going out for drinks.

My one, absolute dream date to the Grammy Awards would be... Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam. He's the only reason I'm going to Big Day Out.
