Cats on the prowl for new homes at RSPCA adoption day

THERE'S no place like home, they say - and Betty Bridge doesn't mind sharing hers with dozens of cats.

But the Friends of the RSCPA volunteer hopes her feline friends will find new families this Sunday, at the group's cat adoption day.

Betty is opening her home at 17 Pams Crt, Beecher, for cat-loving folks to discover their new pet.

Kittens cost $180, while adult cats are $150, and specialty breeds are $250.

The cats are available between 10am and 1pm, and are all desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.

"What we also really need are food donations to feed all these kittens - we're running low and we would really appreciate if someone could find it in their hearts to leave some quality cat food," Betty said.

RSPCA food collection bins are available in local supermarkets.

Prospective cat owners need to bring cash on Sunday, as no ATM is available.
