Caravan park call police over drug fears
Caravan park utensil bust
A ST George caravan park became the site of a police investigation last week, after a drug utensil was discovered by staff.
Police attended the Victoria St tourist park on June 9, after staff discovered the utensil.
St George police seized the items and carried out a search, resulting in a 33-year-old St George man attending the police station on June 10, where he was issued a notice to appear for possessing a drug utensil.
Drugs found in vehicle search
PATROLS on Scott St have ended in a St George man ordered to front the magistrates court, after police found marijuana.
On June 10, police intercepted the 44-year-old’s vehicle, during which point they found a quantity of the drug.
The man was issued a notice to appear in court for drug possession.
Lock it or you could lose it
POLICE urge members of the community to be vigilant about securing their homes and cars, and remind residents that opportunistic theft can be deterred by locking up.
