Biloela girl makes a noise and gets signed by music agency

FOR Biloela born and bred girl Brooke Elliott, performing is a moment in time when she lets go of everything and loses herself in the energy of the crowd.

The 24-year-old DJ and dancer was recently added to the titanic talent pool of one of Australia's biggest music agencies - 360Agency.

With her name in lights beside international big names such as Havana Brown, The Stafford Brothers, Ruby Rose, TV Rock and Timmy Trumpet, this newcomer is set to take on the world.

Brooke, known as Brooklyn among her growing fan base, was scouted by the agency at the biggest DJ competition in Australia, Your Shot, where she performed in Brisbane as a wildcard entrant with 92 other competitors.

Brooke danced her way through her childhood on the stage of the Biloela Civic Centre, and now she is performing in some of the biggest venues around the country, with Australia's music festivals and summer events in her sights for 2014.

Brooke left Biloela in 2007 at age 17 for the Gold Coast.

"I moved to the Gold Coast to find myself, and to figure out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. It's taken a lot of sacrifices and dedication to get where I am today, but it is all worth it in that moment when I am absorbed by the energy of the crowd," she said.

"Biloela will always be my home no matter where I am in the world ... I made lifetime friends at Bilo high."

Her love for music and performing started when she was seven years old, dancing in local eisteddfods, variety concerts and school musicals.

"I hope to take my performance to the next level and add elements of dance into my sets. I have been dancing since I was seven years old and it was that feeling of dazzling the crowd that started my love for performing."

From dancer to DJ, Brooklyn is known for her EDM and big room sounds, and brings a presence so powerful it keeps the crowds thumping. Since signing to 360Ageny, the bookings have been rolling in with gigs lined up in Sydney, Phillip Island and at a massive Boxing Day event at in Brisbane alongside fellow 360Agency members The Faders.
