IT AFFECTS more than 13,000 women every year, and now Gladstone health services are zeroing in on breast cancer.

Next month the Breast Cancer Awareness Day aims to dispel the myths around breast cancer.

The Women's Health Centre event is on Sunday, November 10, from 10am until 3pm, at the Leo Zussino Building at CQUniversity.

Entry is by gold coin donation, and hot drinks and a sausage sizzle will be provided.

Proud sponsors of Breast Cancer Awareness Day are Calliope Senior Roosters' Football Club Pink fundraiser, Look Good Feel Better, and other cancer support services.
