Croc closes Mackay Harbour beach
THERE has been a crocodile sighting at Mackay Harbour beach and the beach has been closed.
Surf Life Saving Queensland advised via a Tweet about 11.30am that the beach was off limits.
The organisation advised people to stay away from the water.

Harbour Beach was closed late in October when a crocodile estimated to be about 2.5m long was sighted.
