Bushfire breaks out near Biloela

UPDATE 3.20PM:

The vegetation fire at Thangool has now been contained. 

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said crews were now dampening hot spots. 

INITIAL 2.12PM:

Fire and Emergency Services are on scene at a vegetation fire at Thangool, near Biloela.

Two crews were called to Thangool Lookerbie Rd at 1.45pm.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said crews have nearly extinguished the main fire.

The QFES spokeswoman said crews were putting out hot spots.
