Boy hospitalised after quad bike stunt goes wrong

A BOY is recovering in the Toowoomba Hospital after he injured his head and abdomen while attempting a jump on a quad bike.

Queensland Ambulance Service and LifeFlight paramedics were called a private address north of Crows Nest, about 11am today.

A LifeFlight spokeswoman said the primary school-aged boy was flown to Toowoomba Hospital, under the care of an RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and a QAS Flight Paramedic.

He travelled in a stable condition.
