Bouncer fined for taking law into own hands in Gladstone CBD
TAKING the law into his own hands didn't do a Gladstone man any favours when he appeared in the Gladstone Magistrates Court yesterday.
The court heard Faletoi Moleli Fauatea was involved in an altercation with a man at the Grand Hotel on March 21.
The defendant's lawyer told the court his client is employed as a security guard at another CBD premises.
He said his client went to the Grand to warn the manager about a difficult patron and came across the person in question.
An altercation between the two occurred.
The defendant was fined $400.
