Fete in Gladstone celebrates 60th anniversary for Blue Care
BLUE CARE is celebrating its 60th anniversary with 60 events this year, and Gladstone is joining in the festivities with a fete this Saturday, September 14.
The community is invited to the Palm Drive Sports Complex, Gladstone, from 10am to 2pm.
Blue Care Gladstone Community Care acting service manager Sharon Triffett said funds raised would assist with the provision of the organisation's services in the community.
"Blue Care is one of Australia's leading service providers and this is our 60th year of making a difference to the lives of people across Queensland and northern New South Wales," Ms Triffett said.
"The fete is going to be heaps of fun and I encourage everyone to come along."
Blue Care Gladstone's Leonie Messenger said it was important to support such not-for-profit organisations, because so many people in Gladstone benefited from their service.
Anyone who would like to express their interest with regards to market or food stalls is welcome to contact Leonie Messenger on 4971 4739 or 0411 963 095.
Head to the sports complex on Saturday to enjoy exciting market stalls, amusement rides and lucky door prizes.
