Management award nominations close soon

BUSINESSES have a little more than a week to nominate their favourite managers for the Australian Institute of Management Excellence Awards.

The AIM awards have helped to recognise and encourage inspirational, passionate and talented managers across Queensland and the Northern Territory for the past 20 years.

The search for the most outstanding management talent is built on nominations from co-workers, friends or peers for a manager who has made a positive impression in business, government or industry.

The categories for Queensland are: Professional Manager of the Year, Owner Manager of the Year, Young Manager of the Year and Not for Profit Manager of the Year.

After an individual has been nominated, they are required to submit an application, which encourages them to consider their career journey thus far. To reflect with honesty and humility on where they have been and how they got to where they are now.

Nominations for the AIM Excellence Awards close on July 15.
