Lions skipper Jed Adcock hoses down Rockliff outburst

BRISBANE Lions skipper Jed Adcock has tried to douse the flames stemming from Tom Rockliff's verbal stoush with North Melbourne's elder statesmen on Saturday night.

Adcock said yesterday Rockliff and Kangaroos pair who he had exchanged words with after the clash at the Gabba, player Brent Harvey and coach Brad Scott, had all put the incident behind them.

But, he said Rockliff had "learned a lesson from it".

"From what I've heard, Rocky has apologised and Boomer (Harvey) said it was all fine and they've moved on, and I think everything's fine with Scotty and Rocky as well," Adcock told reporters.

"We've moved on and I'm sure the Kangaroos have moved on, and we'll wait for you guys (media) to move on."

Not moving on, however, is David Mundy, who has signed a new three-year deal to stay at Fremantle, despite speculation the 28-year-old was considering returning home to Victoria.
