Addicted to shoes? Find out the trends Gladstone ladies love
WOMEN and shoes - it's like that extra helping of a delicious meal. You know you probably shouldn't but can't resist.
Colleen Trevor and Amy Achilles indulge in shoes daily, running Gladstone store Happy Feet.
High heels give legs all the right definition, but owner Mrs Trevor said heights were now coming down a notch.
"The highs are still in, but the medium heel and the flats are really coming through," she said.
Bright fluoros are also toning down, but as one style moves on, another takes its place.
"All your whites are coming through in a big way," Mrs Trevor said.
"I have a lot of clients asking for it."
A must for the feet, whether barefoot, in thongs or heels, is to have your toenails polished.
"Absolutely," Mrs Trevor said. "Shoes, out-there dress and matching toenails."
"And to keep shoes in good condition, when not wearing them, definitely leave them in the shoebox."
