Clive Palmer’s jet goes up for auction
SELF-DESCRIBED billionaire, politician and mining magnate Clive Palmer's $40 million jet reportedly is set for auction as creditors for his insolvent aviation business pursue the company for millions of dollars.
The Australian reported the Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express was Palmer Aviation's only asset.
It was bought for $40 million in June 2012.
The company went into voluntary receivership last week along with his nickel refinery, Queensland Nickel.
